A native Louisianian, Katy grew up in Slidell, La. She graduated from LSU in 2016 earning a bachelor's degree in Finance with a concentration in personal finance. Katy became interested in financial planning when a family member suffered from a major stroke. Seeing how life altering a stroke can be she knew she wanted to help others plan for life’s unexpected moments.
In her spare time, Katy is most likely snuggling with her dog Cooper or studying. She is currently studying for the Certified Financial Planner exam. Afterwards, she will begin preparing for the Series 7 (General Securities Representative) exam. Katy also enjoys exercising, gardening, reading, baking, and walks with Cooper.
Katy holds securities registrations for Series 6 (Investment Company Products / Variable Contract Representative), and Series 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser Law Exam) with Cetera Financial Specialists, as well as life and variable contracts insurance licenses. She is an Investment Advisory Representative (IAR) with Cetera Financial Specialists.
