After graduating from the University of New Orleans with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Hattie began a career in education, working in special education for five years. Her experience in that field honed her organizational skills, patience, and ability to support others.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Hattie comes from a large local family and remains deeply connected to her community. Outside the office, she enjoys tackling challenging crossword puzzles, spending time outdoors with her family, and doting on her beloved dog, Hushpuppy.
